Spring Break Camp

Affinity Farm offers a 5-day spring break camp program March 29- April 2 for children ages 7-16.

Summer Camp Program

Affinity Farm offers a 5-day summer camp program in June, July and August for children ages 7-16. The camps are held Monday through Friday. This year our program will include Pony Camp, Tiny Tots Camp and Horse Camp.

PONY CAMP
10:00 AM- 12:00 PM

Pony Camp is our beginning rider camp. It offers an introduction to riding with instruction in the care and maintenance of horses and riding instruction. Children will learn how to groom the horses, how to put the equipment (tack) on the horse, how to keep the stable clean and tidy, how and what to feed the horse, and beginning riding instruction (time spent riding the horse depends upon the number of children attending the camp).

Pony camp: $200/week

HORSE CAMP
10:00 AM- 1:00 PM

Horse Camp is our intermediate camp and is for riders who can walk, trot and canter with some confidence. The campers will learn to polish their skills as riders. They will be working over small to medium jumps. They will also have instruction in the items listed above for the beginner camp.

Horse camp: $450/week

TINY TOTS CAMP
10:00 AM- 12:00 PM

Tiny Tots Camp is open to riders 3-6 years old. Campers learn the basics of being around horses, care and maintenance of the horse and equipment, and beginning riding instruction (time spent riding the horse depends upon the number of children attending the camp).

Tots Camp: $200/week

Intro-to-Horses Mini-Camps

Two hour mini-camps will be offered on the first Saturday of the month in April, May, June, September, October and November from 3:00-5:00. These mini-camps will be an introduction to the beginning skills of riding a horse and caring for them. Riders must be 4 years of age or older and adults are always welcome! The schedule includes: safety around horses, haltering, leading and tying, feeding, stable care, grooming and tacking. The remaining 20 minutes is spent riding and learning basic position and control at the walk. The cost is $50 per student. You must pre-register for the mini-camps, applications must be received one week prior to the camp date.

Campers should dress in appropriate clothing which includes long pants for riding, and sturdy closed toe shoes. Helmets are provided but campers are encouraged to purchase their own. Camps are limited to a maximum of twenty students.
